What to do if you think you have skin cancer

If you see something that’s new, something that’s different from other moles, or a mole that’s changed from the last time you checked, see your doctor immediately. Some skin cancers can spread very quickly, and as with most cancers, early detection is the key to beating it.

That spot or mole may be benign and nothing to worry about, but don’t take any chances.
